Robbin Phelps is a native of New Mexico, and moved to Washington, D.C. in 1980. Since 1997, she has had a private practice in massage therapy, to which she has added the Trager® Approach and energy medicine. Her background includes degrees in music, and in social work, and a seventeen-year career in computer programming. She gratefully acknowledges the varied skills and perspectives from those fields.
Robbin's philosophy of practice springs from belief in the integrated whole of human beings. Thus, she brings to her work not only her explicit training, but all of her background, her love of anatomy and movement, and even her role as a parent. And, her work addresses her client's spirit, emotions, mind, and body, as she seeks to help each one move toward greater vitality, balance, and joy.
